The column type and pipe type lime preheating systems, developed by our company have got the national patents No.ZL 2008 2 0218578.4, No.ZL 2008 2 028189.4 Purpose: by means the high temperature of gas about 950 1050°C from the end of rotary kiln to preheat the materials (lime stone or dolomite), for partial decomposition of materials. The rate of its decomposition can over 30%. Working principle: The column preheater consists of several independent preheating chambers. Each chamber will be formed a heat exchange flow with counter current of materials to hot air. The amounts of materials and heated gas can be controlled separately, to ensure the heat exchange to get a maximum. The thermal parameters of whole preheater is controlled by PLC system. It combined with the kiln system, to get the purpose for increasing production, decreasing the power and improving the high quality for finally product. Characteristics: 1. high heating exchange for column preheater can be reached at best about 78%; 2. less decrease of pressure. The resistance system can be decreased to 6 kPa , the traditional vertical preheater pressure is 9 10 kPa. Meanwhile the structure is simple, the ratio of troubles is low, easy in operation and maintenance. 3. the valve control device for the feed bin set on the op of column preheater, to seal materials well. Meanwhile using the material apparatus to control the level of feeding. To accomplish an automatic control of feeding system. 4. discharge system of column preheater consists of hydraulic station and several sets of hydraulic controlled rod and pushers. The whole discharging process is controlled by PLC system. 5. each chamber of column preheater is separated entirely, and the gas flow and materials flow inside of each chamber can be controlled separately. Therefore the temperature of each chamber can be equilibrium, to attain the uniformity heat exchange and improve the heat exchange system.
