2General Description: DCM305 is a high accuracyelectronic compass(three-dimensional compass,compensated compass) with 50 degrees tilt compensated. Which uses advanced algorithms, with hard iron and soft iron corrections, to provide highly accurate heading information over its extra wide tilt range at latitudes up to 50 degrees. The small size and low power requirements of the DCM305 allow it to fit into today’s size sensitive systems. These advantages make RION Corporation's DCM305 the choice for applications that require highest accuracy and performance anywhere in the world. Features include an extra wide tilt range, high accuracy compass heading, low powerconsumption, large signal noise immunity under all conditions, and a large magnetic field measurement range in a small package. The DCM305 combines USA patented Magneto-Inductive (MI) sensors and measurement circuit technology with a three-axis MEMS accelerometer for unparalleled cost effectiveness and performance. The magnetic sensors and accelerometers are calibrated to operate from -40 to 85°C; hence the measurement is very stable over temperature and inherently free from offset drift. DCM305 adopts high-tech levels such as MCU, Water-proof, dust prevention and anti-corrosion PCB, import cable,wide temperature metal-clad ,and so on, to improve the stability and reliability.
