1. Data Terminal Unit General GPRS is a kind of mobile packet data service that provides high speed wireless IP connection between mobile users and data network. It is developed with packet switch technology; each user can occupy multiple radio channels, at the same time, one single radio channel can be shared by multiple users. Thus, radio resources are effectively utilized and the maximum GPRS bandwidth can reach 171.2Kb/s. Remaining online all the time, users pay merely for the data transmitted and received because of this technology. H7000 Mobile Data System developed by Hongdian Technologies provides a high speed, always online, transparent virtual lease line between remote site and central network. The main application areas are focused on power supply and industry supervision, traffic control, securities, finance, utilities and so on. With the transparent data transmission feature and variety of applications, H7000 system can be configured as a virtual private network.
