CNC Prototype

The Quick Prototype or CNC Prototype is a high accuracy, strong, tough, and water-resistant Rapid Prototype. CNC Machining is a subtractive manufacturing process whereby cutting tools are used to remove material until the final net shape is established. Metal is the primary type of material used in manufacturing machined parts, but plastic,composites and other materials may also be machined. The design of the component can have an enormous effect on the cost of manufacturing. Other factors may affect the manufacturability such as the type of raw material, the form of the raw material, dimensional tolerances, and secondary processing such as finishing.
