BYM series module is made of BYF series ceramic blanket, folded or piled up with blanket sheets and pre-compressed to a specified density. Several types of anchor can be selected for different installing demand. Production Specialty ¨ The anchor system is remote from hot face, maintaining the metal components at a relatively low temperature. ¨ The pre-compressing of the accordion-pleats, released after installation, gives tightly sealed inter-modules joints with both configurations, this counteracts shrinkage that occurs at operating temperatures and help prevent joins from opening up in service. ¨ Low thermal conductivity giving high thermal efficiency. ¨ Since the module has good resilience, the furnace or kiln structural steel need not be totally rigid. This provides an opportunity for innovative furnace and kiln designs. ¨ Light weight, giving low heat absorption in the insulation. Good resistance to thermal shock. The heat-up and cool-down stages of furnace or kiln operating cycles can be greatly accelerated.
