COATED GLASS Coated glass is made of glass coated or plated with one layer or multi-layers of metal, alloy or metallic compound film, so as to change the optical property of glass, and to meet special requirement. Coated glass can be divided into following types: Heat reflective glass, low emission glass (Low-E), conductive film glass etc. Heat-reflecting glass is made usually of glass plated with one layer or multi-layers of metal or other compound films, such as:chromium,titanium or stainless steel etc. It is also called as sunlight control glass. Low emission glass is made of glass plated with multi-layers of metal or compound films, such as: silver, copper or tin etc., having good heat-insulating property. Conductive film glass is made of glass coated with tin indium oxide and other conductive films.
