LZ Series Drilling Motor-petroleum machinery Working principle of drilling motor: The drilling motor is a positive displacement downhole motor drill powered by the drilling fluid and converting the liquid pressure energy into mechanical energy. When the mud pumped out from the mud pump flows through the bypass valve into the motor, there forms a definite pressure difference at the inlet and the outlet of the motor to push the rotor to rotate round the axial line of the stator and transmit, through the universal shaft and the transmission shaft, the rotation speed and the torque to the drill bit, thus realizing the well drilling operation.
