Application YCW1 series intelligent air circuit breaker (hereinafter called ACCBS) are applied to the network circuit of AC 50 Hz, rated voltage 400V, 690V and rated current between 400A and 6300 A. Mainly used foe distributing energy and protecting the circuit and power supply device against short-circuit, under-voltage, single-phase ground fault, etc. The ACBS has intelligent protection function and the key parts adopt intelligent release. The release can make the accurate selective protection, which can avoid cutting off the power and improve the reliability of power supply. The products conform to IEC60947-2, IEC 60947-4 standards. Construction Features There are two constructions available-fixed circuit breaker and draw-out circuit breaker. The fixed circuit breaker is mainly composed of the contact system, intelligent release, manual operating mechanism, electric operating mechanism and mounting plate, and the drawout circuit electric operating mechanism and drawer base. The breaker is of three-dimensional arrangement type, so they have the characteristics of compact construction and small volume. The contact system is enclosed inside the insulating soleplate and its contacts of each phase are so partitioned by insulating plates that the small chambers are formed. The intelligent release, manual operating mechanism and electric operating mechanism are positioned in front of the contact system in sequence in order to form their individual cells, so it can be removed in total and replaced by a new one if one of them is out of order. The detailed descriptions to them are as follow: 1.Contact system: It employs the one-grade contacts which get rid of the transfer process of are contacts so the operation force of contacts are reduced and the breaking process of short-circuit is expedited. In order to reduce the electric repulsive force between the contacts and increase the electric stability of contact system, the system employs the multi circuit parallel connection. All the contacts, flexible connections and bus bars arc welded to reduce the power loss as well as the contact resistance. 2. Arc-extinguishing chamber: the wall of the chamber is made of insulating materials by pressing. The chamber is provided with the arc-extinguishing bar in order to have the arc blew up wards into the chamber. 3.Base: both the contact system and the arc-extinguishing system are positioned between the front and back bases which are made of the DMC insulating material with high strength and good electrical performance by pressing. The phase are such designed that each of them has its own individual arc-extinguishing chamber and the contacts are mounted on the insulating support, so that it is impossible to result short circuit between the phases and to spray downwards the gas resulted from the moment the short-circuit current is broken. The gas can only be sprayed upwards. The design can assure reliable breaking when the lower incoming wire is connected. 4. Operating mechanism:There are types of mechanism,one is manual and the other is electric. Both of them are mounted on the insulating base and positioned on the face of the breaker. The mech anism employs the free tripping mechanism , which is capable of changing four link levers into five link levers. The mechanism is such designed that it is of energy-prestoring type in order to meet the demand of antomatic control. During the operation of the breaker , the mechanism can be set to the energy pre-storing position. The breaker is capable of closing immediately and instantaneously as soon as it receives the order of closing. The energy prestored can be released by the manual release button or the energy release electromagnetic iron. Remote control can also be realized. 5.The intelligent release has following functions: (1) It has the protective function such as overload long time delay inverse time, short time delay inverse time, short time delay specified time, instantaneous operation, grounding, etc. which can be set by the users themselves to form the protective characteristics required; (2) Overload alarm function;(3)testing function;(4)load monitor function (5)display function (6)sclf-diagnosis function (7) MCR function (8) thermal analog function(9)contact loss indication(10) fault memory function(11) the intelligent release are available in the following types: type L(economical type), type M(common type) and type H(with communication interface).
