Battery Installation: 1. Remove the two fastening screws on the back of the unit to access the battery compartment. 2. Attach a 9v alkaline battery (not included) to the connector and place it in the compartment. 3. Refit the back of the unit and replace the screws. Operation: To trigger the alarm simply pull the rip cord. To stop the alarm replaces the pin. Hang on door at home, or hotels or dorm rooms. Acts as a portable door alarm! How to use as a door alarm? Using the supplied door accessory, insert thethe clip endinto the door a crack between a door and its frame, the other end being in the alarm. Once the door is open, the alarm will sound. Belt Clip: The belt clip can be removed by turning the screw on the back of the clip to the horizontal position – it will now be free from the unit.
