Working Principle Venturi device consists of three sections, namely shrinkable tube, laryngeal tube and diffusion tube. ---When the smoke with dust entry into the shrinkable tube, its speed increased greatly and reached maximum when it enter the laryngeal tube. ---The washing water injected in the laryngeal tube was lashed by high-speed airflow, and caused the formation of aerosol droplets. Dust particles were wetted, then they crashed and condensed between themselves or between droplets. ---In the diffusion tube, airflow speed dropped dramatically to facilitate the formation of larger droplets. ---If alkaline water is filled into washing water, it can get better reaction with sulfur dioxide, that's the result of desulfurization. Chemical Reactions Main chemical reactions inside venturi devices and waterfilm desulfurization dust collector: Ca (OH) 2 + SO2 → CaSO3 1/2H2O +1 / 2H2O CaSO3 1/2H2O +1 / 2H2O + SO2 → Ca (HSO3) 2 CaSO3 1/2H2O + O2 +3 H2O → 2CaSO4 2H2O The main resultant produced by chemical reaction is CaSO, and it could be exploited if condition permits.
