Features: 1) A carbon molecular sieve belongs to carbon sorbent. It is a carbon materialwith many hollow holes in its structure. Its hole-structure is irregular. CMSis one kind of non-metering compound and its main performance is based onthe micro-hole structure 2) The air separation capacity of CMS relies on the different speeds of diffusionof gas passing CMS micro-hole and/or different adsorbabilities 3) Under balanced condition, the adsorption amount of CMS to oxygen andnitrogen is very close, while the speed of oxygen molecule passing throughthe micro-hole structure is much faster than the speed of nitrogen molecule 4) This principle is the base of CMS nitrogen generation.
