Our Integral Bladed Stabilizers are manufactured from AISI 4145H modified steel. All Stabilizers are bored, drifted, and fully heat treated to meet or exceed the mechanical property requirements of NS-1. A through-wall hardness range of 285-341 HB and a charpy V notch i mpact strength of 42 joules at 20 C are guaranteed one inch below the surface. Hard-facing Various tungsten carbide can be applied to any Stabilizer to suit all drilling needs.
