TH208 lightning protection device tester is used for testing the parameters of piezoresistive lightning protection devices and gap-type lightning protection devices. This device is designed in accordance with the current safety testing requirements on lightning protection devices after taking extensive advice from field inspection engineers engaged in meteorology, railway, transportation, wind power generation, civil engineering, base station, etc. It is mainly used to test on site the breakdown voltage, leakage current and stability of piezoresistive lightning protection devices, the starting voltage and surge voltage of gap-type lightning protection devices, the insulation resistance of lightning protection devices, as well as the static condition of peripheral devices. Equipped with a GPS, it is able to record the coordinates of the test point and satellite time in the test data. It is also equipped with a durable thermal printer, so the label can be kept all the year. With a combination of many functions, it can be used to test on site voltage limiting lightning protection devices, voltage switching lightning protection devices, static condition, insulation resistance, and geographic coordinates of the test point.
