MBTS together with dithiocarbamates can avoid scorching. Thiurams, dithiocarbamates and aldehyde-amines can activate MBTS. It is a retarder for processing and vulcanization of CR compounds. It can improve processing safety with ultrafast accelerators. Its vulcanizate has an excellent heat-ageing resistance.
