YHG1800 plug flow rotary disk aerator for oxidation ditch is a horizontal spindle disk type surface aerator. The RDA consists of rotary disk, horizontal spindle, bearing seat, coupling, decelerator, electric machine etc. The key component of RDA is the turbine-like plug flow type disk, which has obtained over 20 patents in the environmental protection equipment category. The patent number for this utility model is 01266574.6. The turbine shaped arcuate raised bars are displayed evenly on the aerator disk. On the one side of the raised bar which is vertical to the disk, there is continual wave-shaped concave and convex; on the other side there is a gradient multi-grid compartment. There are circular blind holes between the raised bars. By applying dynamics, this design achieves the best effect of oxygenation from the optimized plug flow under the same driving force. High pressure injection molding was applied in the forming production process of the aerator disks. This help to prevent the defects known to occur in manual molding processes or in disks made of glass fiber reinforced plastics. These aerator disks are ametabolic, high temperature resistant and resistant to impact. The running of the aerator disks produces numerous water screens, which wraps air inside. At the same time, the design of blind holes on the disk will take in large amounts of air to mix sufficiently with the wastewater. The oxygen in the air will dissolve in the water resulting in oxygenation of the water. Comparatively, the number of disks installed is only half that of Φ1400 disks, while the effect of oxygenation of the complete appliance usually can be increased by 50%. According to design specifications, the oxygenation effect of the RDA can be 200-300% of that of the Φ1400 disk. The plug flow force of the complete appliance also doubles. The whole disk weighs 45kg a piece. When used with the company's patent product, Orbal oxidation ditch, the effect of aeration, oxygenation and wastewater treatment can be improved greatly. The interval between the disks is normally 30-50cm. The design of the aerator is based on the oxygen-quantity demand. The horizontal spindle of the RDA is made from thick-wall seamless steel pipe. The anticorrosion treatment on the surface has been achived by applying special glass fiber reinforced plastic. Currently, the horizontal spindle comes in two sizes: Φ219 x (14-22)mm andΦ325 x (16-24)mm. When the baffle plate or the guide wall is equipped, the oxygen capacity can be increased by about 10% and the velocity in partsat the bottom of the ditch will be enhanced. However, the longest drive distance and the mixing quantity will be reduced about 8%. 2.The oxygenation capacity of RDA is mainly decided by the number of disks. The intervals of 2-3ds/m or 4ds/m has little impact on the oxygenation or driving capacity for each disk. 3. The optimal configuration for the oxidation ditch will be worked out by the Lingzhi technicians based on the different design conditions. E.g.: Under certain conditions, the flowing configurations can be considered an economical design, which are 9m spindle with 13 disks, equipped with 30kw motor, rotating speed of 46rpm. 4.The design of baffle plate is very important. It is recommended to ask the designer for advice when baffle plate usage is uncertain. It is suggested that there is no need to use the baffle plate when the Φ1800 RDA is installed under the condition of less than 5m of water depth.
