Description JOINLEADER900is butyl sealant designed for use as the primary moisture barrier in dual sealed insulating glass units. It exhibits low argon permeability, excellent adhesion to glass and aluminum, good compressibility,and inherent moisture vapor resistance. Application It can be used for the manufacture of insulating glass units. Together with an elastic sealant compound like silicone, polyurethane or polysulfide sealant, they form an excellent dual-seal system. Technical index Color black or gray Heat resistance Non-dusting, non-hardening, non-loss of adhesion and non-decomposition in successive 30 hour use between minus 40°C and plus 130°C, the highest temperature it can endure being 175°C. Specific gravity 1.20-1.30g/cm3 Shear strength(aluminum –glass)above 0.15mpa Tensile strength (aluminum –glass) above0.80mpa Ultraviolet irradiation 168h,no fog. Packing 7kg per paper barrel, diameter being 180mm or 190mm and height220mm,28kg/box Shelf Life and Storage Under the temperature of -10 35, has a shelf life of 24 months.
