PTFE jacked gasket

PTFE jacketed gasket is a kind of non-metallic gasket. It is usually composed by jacketed layer and inserts two parts. The jacketed layer mostly plays rolls in anticorrosion, usually made from PTFE. And the inserts (filling) are non-metallic materials of good flexibility with or without metal reinforced layer, usually made from asbestos rubber sheet or other compound material. This sealing gasket may be divided into V type, U type and L type according to the structure of inner core. It is used for some vessels, pipelines and valves connection in petroleum, chemical industry, pharmacy and foodstuff. So as to keep material clean, it also adopts PTFE gasket to seal. It is widely used for various strong acid, strong alkaline, chlorine and unpolluted medium's sealing.
