Mega has successfully developed advanced hot runner with valve gate system for the preforms moulds, the number of cavities are up to 72 cavities for standard neck finishes. 4 cavity preform mold for the thick wall preforms (5 gallon preform). The weight of the preform is 700g, the preform is designed for returnable five gallon PET bottles (19.8L PET bottle). cycle time is 70 Sec with general PET screw type of injection molding machine. Recommend to work with 3 stage post cooling system, it will reduce the cycle time significantly.
