Usage&Caution: UsersshalldeterminethesuitabilityofPFSfortherawwatertobetreatedbysampletestpriortouse. 1.PreparationofPFSworkingsolution:dissolvePFSinwaterattheconcentrationof10-30%(W/W),stiruntilitiscompletelyhydrolyzed.Dilutetheresultredbrownliquidtorequiredconcentration,usually2-5%fortapwaterand5-10%forindustrialwastewater. 2.Dosage:Dosagecanbedeterminedaccordingtotheformationandsettlingofflocsbysampletest.Fortreatmentoftapwaterunderidenticalcondition,thedosageofPFSisequivalenttopolyaluminumchloride,or1/3-1/4ofthatofaluminumSulphate. 3.PumpcalculatedamountoftheabovePFSworkingsolutionintogaugetank,andaddintotherawwatertobetreated. 4.GenerallythePFSworkingsolutionshallbeusedrightafterpreparation.Usepuretapwaterforpreparation.Sometimesslightprecipitationmayoccurdependingonthewaterused. 5.Keepcloseattentiontotheprogressoftheapplicationwhichmaybedividedintothreestages: (1Coagulation:LargeamountofmicroflocsformedinaveryshorttimeafterthePFSworkingsolutionismixedwithrawwater.Thewaterturnsmoreturbid.Vigorousstirringisneededatthisstage,usually250-300r/mininsampletestfor10-30S¡ê?atthemaximumnotexceeding2min. (3Sedimentation:waterflowshallbeveryslowatthisstageforflocsettling.Toachievehighefficiency,lamellasettlingorflotationmethodcanbeused.Inthesampletest,stirat20-30r/minfor5min,standfor10min,andtestturbidity. 6.Compulsivefiltration:choosesuitablefiltermaterialorfilteraidtoachievegoodcaptureeffectandfiltrationspeed.Thisisakeystepforimprovementofwaterquality.
