pit weighbridge Step 1: Sandblasting External surfaces of all modules undergo complete sandblasting to removeany contaminants such as mill scale, welding gases, oli or otherresidue. We use a centrifugal steel shot blasting system which blasts a mixture of steel grit and steel shot simultaneously to remove contaminants. If thesteel is not properly cleaned (like other Chinese suppliers, they just polish the steel surface by hand), paint will flake and wear away, diminishing its appearance, exposing the scale to the elements and shortening its lifespan. Although paint can initially hide much of thisresidue on a lower qualityweighbridge, it will quickly appear once in the field. We use an intense cleaning process to remove all foreign materials andresidue before painting to ensure proper bonding of the paint. Sandblasting Cleaning: Sa 3.0; Surface Roughness: 40 85μm Step 2: Protective coating After surface cleaning, the weighbridge is moved to dust-free painting room, and all steel surfaces are sprayed with a protective coating to prevent the steel from moisture. Step 3: 2 coatings of epoxy zinc primer 12 hours after protective coating, all weighbridge surfaces are sprayed a coating of high performance epoxy zinc primer. 24 hours under constant temperature of 25°C, another coating of epoxy zinc primer will be sprayed. The thickness of 2 primers is over 60 micron. Step 4: 1 coating of alkyd enamel finish 24 hours after the 2nd primer, high quality alkyd enamel finish is applied. The thickness of the finish is over 50 micron.
