1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Thermoformable blister films for packaging and sterilising of medical and surgical items. Suitable for most types of packaging machines. Sealable with standardised, coated or uncoated, medical grade papers manufactured for the same purpose. 2. MATERIALS Coextruded polyamide/polyethylene film. Materials contain no toxic agents and have been permitted for use in the manufacture of food or drug packages. 3. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS Forming temperature: 100-120oC Sealing temperature: 140-170oC Heat resistance: 95oC Coefficient of friction (ASTM D1894): Colour: Transparent Core: 76 mm -0/+2 Roll diameter: 300 mm Sterilisation methods: Gas, radiation 4. QUALITY Thickness profile and grammage tolerance: +/- 10% Bond strength: >150 N/m Roll length tolerance: -0/+5% Width tolerance: +/- 1 mm Widthwise winding variation: +1/-1 mm max Cosmetic requirements: -no dirt or dust -no bubbles or gels size below 0.8 mm more than 20/m2, size 0.8-1.0 mm more than 10/m2, size over 1.0 mm more than 1/m2. -no wrinkles -laminate is transparent, no delaminated spots, channels etc Slitting quality: -when checked visually by unaided eye, no nicks or cuts and no linting of the material Certificate of conformity is prepared from every production lot and supplied to the customer. 5. PACKAGING Every single roll is wrapped in the polyethylene wrap. Rolls are loaded on 110*110 cm pallets and the pallet is wrapped in the stretch film.
