Optical fiber cable

Description The fibers, either of single-mode or muitimode type,are placed in a loose tube made of high modulus pastic.The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A plece of Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP)ocates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member.The tubes and fillers are stranded around the atrength member into a compact and circular cable core.The cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE)sheath.
