Motor Protector (EMP series)

General Description: EMP-TC 380V multi-function protector for motor (hereinafter referred to as protector), which adopts the single chip as its main controlling element and uses digital processing and control technology, is of rapid speed, high precision and great control function. The use of nixie tube display and keyboard operation make it is easy to achieve man-machine interactive operation. Functions: 1. With function of over current, over heat, over voltage, unbalanced voltage, high vibration or pressure protection and state auto-locking. 2. With function of optional automatic start-up control. 3. With function of the setting and saving of rated current of the motor, the percentage of over voltage protection, the under voltage protection, and phase imbalance protection, as well as the auto start delay time. 4. With function of parameter setting and operating parameter display. 5. With function of LED’s flashing alarm in the malfunction protection delay process. Technical features: 1. Over load protection: the inverse-time-limit takes place according to the degree of overload (over current). 2. Phase imbalance protection: when the phase imbalance degree is equal or greater than the desired protection value, the protector will run 30s later. 3.Over voltage protection: when the maximum phase voltage is equal or greater than the desired over voltage value, the protector will run 30s later 4.Under voltage protection: when the minimum phase voltage is less than the desired under voltage value, the protector will run 30s later. 5.Over heat protection: the protector runs immediately when the normally-closed contact of the temperature sensor is open. 6. High vibration or pressure protection: the protection runs immediately after the normally-closed contact of the high vibration or pressure sensor is open. 7.The control relay of the protector is disconnected when malfunction happens. This turns off the main contactor, and cuts off the power supply of the motor. There is a red malfunction indicator lamp in the protector which will shine after the protection, and glitter during the period of delay protection.
