A Series of tungsten filament and opposite earthing plates constitute the ionization unit. The motes are charged +/- by the ionization unit. A Series of parallel plates constitute the collection part. The plates are charged +/-by hi-Voltage DC (same polarity, half voltage as the ionization unit), which forms the electric field.
