LJ-02A2 safety light

Description: The LNK-LJ-02A2 is a flashing lifejacket light which is activated automatically by a water sensor in wire. Installation: The LNK-LJ-02A2 lifejacket light is fit to use on all types of lifejackets and supplied with a fixing clip. The clip is normally placed behind a belt of lifejacket or a reflective tape and the light is secured by pressing it into the clip. A typical attachment method is as below picture. The user must ensure that the light could be attached securely and is in the correct position on the lifejacket to provide maximum visibility when the wearer is in the water. The wire with water sensor must be fixed on lifejacket by a suitable method to prevent from being pulled or caught by some object in water. Operation: The LNK-LJ-02A2 lifejacket light is activated automatically when the water sensor in wire is immersed in water. And only water sensor contact at water, the light could be manually turned on or off by pressing switch on main body. Otherwise, when the water sensor is dry, the light could be turned off when the light is working but not be turned on by pressing switch manually unless let the water senor contact at water again. Maintenance: The LNK-LJ-02A2 are maintenance free, but the following checks should be made annually: Inspect light for signs of damage or corrosion.Test the light by immersing the wire in water, the light must flash. And manually pressing switch on main body, the light could be turned on or off. The water for testing must be only sea water or tap water.Remove the water sensor from water and dry it, the light could be turned off but not be turned on again.In the storing period, ensure the water sensor is dry all the time. Life: The life of the LNK-LJ-02A2 battery is five years from the date of manufacture; the expiry date is shown on the label affixed to the product. On expiry the light should be removed by moving clip carefully and the new light should be fixed again. Disposal: Dispose of used and expired lights in accordance with local regulation. This should be done through an approved environment disposal agent. Safety: LNK-LJ-02A2 light contains Lithium battery. These must be handled correctly: Do not dismantle battery pack;Do not make any external electrical connection;Do not recharge;Do not incinerate;Store between -30 +65degree celsius.
