We offer single row angular contact ball bearings that are used to carry thrust load in one direction only, and should always be adjusted against another bearing which accommodates the opposed thrust load. Single row angular contact ball bearings are non separable. Used for high-speed work spindles of machine tools the spindle bearings differ from the angular contact ball bearings by the contact angle, the degree of accuracy, and the type of cage. Spindle bearings are manufactured in series 70 and 72. They are identified by a bearing number commencing with Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings : The design of the double row angular contact ball bearings corresponds to two single row angular contact ball bearings arranged back to back. The bearing is capable of carrying high radial loads and thrust loads in both direction. It is particularly suitable for applications calling for high axial rigidity. Double row angular contact ball bearings with un split rings are provided with filling slots on one side. The bearings should be mounted in such a way that the main loads are carried by the raceways without filling slot.
