Variable area flowmeter adopts variable area measure principle. Variable area flowmeter is composed of a metal cone and a suitable formed float which can move freely up and down along the cone. The height of the float in the measuring unit, which depends on the flow, is transmitted by a magnetic coupling and displayed on a scale.
