High Voltage Network Switch Cabinet I. Summary XGN2 type high voltage network switch cabinet, is a box-type, fixed and enclosed equipment (switch cabinet for short), applied to distribution substations of industrial and mineral enterprises, of 3, 6,10KV 3 phase 50Hz AC system for electricity distributing, particularly suitable for occasions of frequent operation. The elemental framework is made of welded angle irons. The switch cabinet conforms to the requirements of the national standard GB 3906-1991 AC metal-enclosed switchgear for rated voltage of 3-35kv, in addition it has the interlock functions of the “five preventions” put forward by both ministries. The main switch of this cabinet adopts vacuum contactor or ZN28A-10(12) series vacuum circuit breakers and CT series spring maneuvering mechanism. Isolating switch adopts GN-10 super current isolating switch series. II. Environmental conditions for the usage of the product 2.1 Ambient temperature: upper limit +40°C; lower limit: -25°C; 2.2 Altitude no greater than 1000m; 2.3 Relative humidity: daily average humidity no greater than 95%, and monthly average no greater than 90%; 2.4 Steam pressure: daily average pressure no greater than 2.2×10‾³MPa, monthly average no greater than 90%; 2.5 Seismic intensity no greater than 8 degree; 2.6 No fire, explosive danger, grave filth, chemical corrosion and drastic vibration on the site. III. Technical data The power frequency of the control motor is 50 Hz, rating voltage 3 10KV and rating current of the stator is up to 2000A. For motor of different specifications the parameters of various electrical elements in terms of the main circuit, control circuits are determined by the technical data of the motor. Supporting components such as liquid resistance starter, reactor, and frequency sensitive rheostat can be used to control and start the motor. Protective devices including over-current, quick break, under voltage and earthing are equipped with the switch cabinet. IV. Structure 4.1 The switch cabinet is of fixed, enclosed metal box structure with its framework welded of angle irons. The cabinet is divided into high voltage chamber and relay chamber. Between chambers are steel plates to part them. 4.2 The upside of the cabinet is isolating switch, the transmission to the vacuum circuit breaker is made up of a lever linked with the maneuvering mechanism. The lower wiring terminals of the breaker are connected to the current transformer, and the upper wiring terminals connected to the terminals of the isolating switch. There is a pressure release passage on the circuit breaker chamber; the gas shall be set free via the passage when there are electric arcs occur. 4.3 The maneuvering mechanism is installed on the left side from the front view of the circuit breaker, and on top of it is the operation and interlock mechanism of the isolating switch. 4.4 At the bottom of the cabinet is a zero sequence current transformer which is used for the protection from earthing trouble. V.
