High conductivity nano corrosion resistance grounding products are made by applying high conductivity coating, which is made from high conductivity filler, modified epoxy, organic solvent and coupling agent, to steel or galvanized steel. It has been tested by China National Product Quality Supervision Inspection Center of Builder’s Finish Hardware Material and Inspection and Test Center for Electrical Equipment SGEPRI. High conductivity coating Solid content ≥40%Drying time: surface≤2h; internal ≤4h;Impact strength resistance≤144cm;Adhesive force: degree 1Good corrosion resistanceGood corrosion resistance To ensure the safe running of grounding system, corrosion resistance is necessary. Electrolytic solution will not take place because of high conductivity nano’s small volume. High conductivity nano corrosion resistance products’ minimum service life is 30 years. Together with steel conductor, the grounding service life reaches 40 years. Good bonding performance Modified epoxy’s molecular structure includes epoxy hydroxy group and ether, so its polarity is strong. Modified epoxy molecule with critical area produces electromagnetic attraction, thus epoxide group and free radical group form chemical bond. That’s why the adhesion of modified eposy is especially strong. This is the best performance of epoxy resin as the coating. The epoxide group at the end of epoxy resin’s molecular chain is the active point of corss-linking among thermosetting polymer. Epoxide group reacts with hardener, which usually contains active hydrogen atom connected with nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur. The outcome is epoxy condensate. curing reaction doesn’t produce water or other volatile byproducts. Compared to polyester and phenolic resin, in curing process, its shrinking is low ( no more than 2%), so the internal stress is small, which helps to enhance adhesion. Reliable thermal stability Among the coating used in grounding system, high conductivity nano corrosion resistance coating is the only one passed thermal stability test. Tested by Inspection and Test Center for Electrical Equipment, the flat steel clad with nano corrosion resistance coating keeps the same color and coating. The DC resistance is 0.15 upon being charged with 30KA, 2S.
