HDPE(high-density polyethylene)impermeable geomembrance ,which is a kind of new material with best anti seepage , antiseptic property and chemical durability, have been used extensively on the water conservancy project to preserve the dyke and reservoir not to be filter through. HDPE anti seepage have the characteristic and function that it can be processed according to the need of the actual project. Meanwhile, this kind of material have been also utilized in some places, such as channel, cisterns, sewage lagoons, swimming pools, building constructions, underground structures, refuse dumps and environmental structures, to avert the permeation, rot, leak and damp. This technique has been wildly used in developed countries since 1930s. In china, HDPE impermeable membrance has been popularized in every project gradually around the age of eighty.
