Weldmesh: 50.8 x 50.8 x 3.55/3.00 mm (heavy) PVC coated welded mesh, supplied and fitted in 25-metre roll form. Fences above 2.4 metres high achieved by multiple lifts (see table below), each overlapping and securely clipped together. Fence Posts :Square and Rectangular Hollow Section steel, set into concrete foundations. Intermediate posts set at 3 metre (max) intervals. Straining posts set at ends, corners, changes in direction/level, and in straight runs exceeding 69 metres (BS 1722 refers). Strainers include a diagonal bracing strut, stretcher bar and set of straining fittings. Linewires: 3.15 mm diameter, galvanised, high-tensile wire, tensioned between straining posts with galvanised ferrule winders (one either end). Weldmesh attached to linewires using stainless steel fencing clips, at (max) 250 mm intervals. Kickboard:(if specified) 3000 x 200 x 38 mm vacuum pressure treated sawn softwood, attached to each post using M8 galvanised bolts, 2 no. each end, attached to flat steel holed lugs either side of each post. Finish: All manufactured steelwork galvanised and polyester powder coated; fittings and accessories galvanised only. The rigid weldmesh panels which will not sag or deform (during normal usage), and have excellent rebound and impact absorbing qualities. They are designed to avoid head and finger traps, and have no sharp protrusions. They are difficult to climb, comprising a flat vertical mesh with no hand/footholds. Are anti-graffiti in that they have a limited surface area, and offer poor over-painting adhesion. In the event of vandalism/damage, replacement components are widely stocked Aesthetically pleasing, using modern thin-faced post sections (which blend into their environment). Have excellent see-through qualities (no shadows), making it easy to monitor use and/or abuse.NOTE all fencing systems, however constructed, will deteriorate with repeated ball impact (particularly in/near goal areas).
