Geotextile Short fiber, Needle punched, Nonwoven Material: 100% Polypropylene Gexotextile Fabrics are made by extruding PP filament from resins, and are laid down for needle punching to form fabric, which have entangled fibers structure to stabilize the dimension. Sometimes, calendaring treatment or fire treatment is applied to adjust elongation, strength or permeability to adapt specific application. It is a mechanically bonded nonwoven. Geotextile nonwovens weights are generally ranging from 100g/Sq.m to 600g/Sq.m with maximum width 6.6m and a full range of strengths and hydraulic characteristics to meet different project requirements. Feature & Benefits: Provides excellent water permeability. Inhibits existing weed growth while suppressing new weed growth. Permits passage of air and liquids, including fertilizers. Prevents sourcing of soil beds associated with impermeable plastic sheets. Remains in place and will not rot mildew, become brittle or biologically decomposes Resists acids, alkalizes, common herbicides, insecticides and fertilizers. Resists tearing and puncture, but can easily be cut to fit any shape using common household scissors for installation. High friction surface control migration of common mulches.
