It checks winding temperature of dry-type power transformer using three platinum resistances of three-phase winding in dry-type power transformer. It also has feature of temperature automatic control and cooling fan start-stop. Overheating alarm and overheating tripping can guarantee dry-type power transformer safety operation. Fan will start if temperature reached 100oC, and then will stop if temperature reached 80oC. Overheating alarm will start if temperature reached 130oC and will trip if reached 150oC.Feature for computer temperature control BWD-3K Monitoring protection, it can judge short circuit for sensor and stuck-open fault effectively. When sensor was broken and temperature controller can not check the temperature, fan will be forced to start in order to guarantee transformer safety operation. In order to avoid the other people to change setting, there is password with temperature controller.Dry-type transformer forced air cooling systemThe cooling method for dry-type transformer is natural air cooling and forced air cooling. In Natural air cooling, dry-type transformer will be continue to output 100% rated capacity in normal condition. With all loading period, it limits max output power of transformer. So that it can increase 40 50% rated capacity output shortly for the forced air cooling system transformer. Cooling fan start and stop depends on the temperature of winding. Temperature controller will start up fan automatically and force cooling to transformer if temperature is higher than set started temperature. Cool wind blow to high and low pressure coil of transformer in order to cool airway. There is obvious heat dissipation effect, in order to guarantee normal operation and extend using period for dry-type transformer.
