ELSP Current-Limiting Backup Fuse

ELSP Current-Limiting Backup Fuse is used in indoor AC system of 50Hz, rated voltage from 10kV to 40.5kV, to protect voltage transformer from fault currents. Any fault currents from minimum interrupting current to maximum interrupting rating of 50KA will be cleared. Higher continuous current ratings can be achieved by connecting two fuses in parallel. And also ELSP Current-Limiting Backup Fuse can be used in series with low current primary protection devices such as a Bay-O-Net Fuse, to provide a full range of fault protection. The ELSP fuse is designed for use in transformer oil or an approved equivalent.
