Electrode Post of Composite Electrode Holder

Based on a technique of 25.5MVA electrode posts introduced from Norway Elkem Company for composite electrode holders of energy-saving carbide furnaces, this series of products, absorbing the experiences in the past decade of domestic famous calcium carbide plants in equipments importing and production, gives improvements to some parts to highlight its rationality and advancement in technology. The developed electrode series of composite electrode holder includes 12.5MVA, 16.5MVA, 25.5MVA and 30.0MVA submerged arc furnace electrodes, etc. At present, the product has been approved by numerous domestic users such as Ningxia Jinyuyuan Chemical Group, Shangxi Hanzhong Ferroalloy Plant, Inner Mongolia Sun-maker International Minerals Co., Ltd., Gansu Xiangfa Calcium Carbide Co., Ltd., Muhai Siling Smelting Co., Ltd. and Wuhai Haixin Chemical Co., Ltd.. Moreover, we are going to work together with the scientific research instituion to develop the prodution technology for 40.0MVA electrode posts of submerged arc furnaces, to make contributions to developing submerged arc furnace equipment in our country to wards of energy conservation, environmental protection and large scale.
