The principle of anti-skidding for self-restrained joint pipe As for there is a little between rubber ring and pipe, two pipes will become less crowded when the pressure inside pipe is high or deflection angle augments.Ductile iron pipe for self-restrained joint can augment resistance of anti-skidding and anti-dropping,it can't bring movement in normal pressure for supplying water. It consists of flange,hoop,and bolt.The hopp is not closed,which welds on spigot of pipe,flange connects with hoop'bevel,and connects with socket by tailor-made bolt.When is is full of water and up to set pressure,it will generate lengthways thrust at joint and bring trend of movement.The hoop welds on spigot,it can resist this movement for hoop and flange on socket of pipe,so axial thrust is less than restrained strengh, is dose not bring movement under this circumstances. Self-restrained joint has preferable effect of anti-skidding and anti-dropping,it can apply to abnormal pressure of supplying water. It can solve some peoblems to adopt self-restrained joint, especially for bent pipe and pipeline that is not suitable to set.
