New fuel-Dimethyl ether(DME)Dimethyl ether(DME)as a new basic chemical raw materials, because of its good compression, condensation, vaporization, dimethyl etherspecialize in pharmaceutical, pesticide, and fuel, chemical industry.As a substitute for liquefied petroleum gas the advantages of Dimethyl ether for civilian fuel are as followings: Because there is oxygen atomin the DME molecular, so the combustion is secure, and no carbon left after the process, no black smoke, no residue, and the exhaust gas can meet with national standards. DME is easy compressed, storage at normal temperature ,and the storage pressure is less than the liquefied petroleum gas, so it is more secure, which can also make use of the existing liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, tank or other containers and pipes, stove can also be universal, so it is easy to put into daily life use. As other civilian fuel blending components adding a certain amount of dimethyl ether into the Liquefied petroleum gas, to resolve the gas supply shortage, reduce the CO content of city exhaust gas, which can also increased the gas burning security and gas calorific value.
