It integrated digital electricity measurement and plug electricity usage technology and available complied with software platform to manage power usage. The design of hardware and software is two- way transmission and through the concept of remote detection and control to create intelligent living space, we call it'Home Smart Grid' ZigBee IEEE 802.15.4. SPM111is a single plug which is consisted of a LCD panel, four bottoms and designed with ZigBee communication. Hardware includes four management modes. It can measure appliance information of voltage, current, watt, CO2 emission and so on. User can set up power rate and the hardware will automatically converted into electrical energy usage cost.By way of showing electricity usage information triggers users spontaneously to reduce energy waste and reach the goal of energy saving. SPM111has build-in 32Kbyte memory that user can set up hardware recording time and combine with Home Smart Grid Monitoring System to record and manage power usage comprehensively. Furthermore, it helps to save energy usage from peak hours by presetting what time to switch on appliances at system.
