Relative suitability of the trip characteristic and environmental temperature change: The viscosity of the hydraulic oil inside the trip mechanic is affected by changes in temperature. The lower the temperature the higher the viscosity, causing a longer delay, and thereby allowing sufficient additional time for use with cooling equipment. In higher temperatures, the viscosity is lower, shortening the delay time and creating a fast trip time, protecting the circuit from overloading when it gets too hot. This type of oppositional reaction makes the trip characteristic relatively suitable to its external environment. Currency rating accuracy high and low error rate from repetitive use The trip characteristic is determined in combination by the coil and the damping fluid; the damping fluid function is determined in combination by the oil cup and metal core.
