API Polished Sucker Rod Our conventional sucker rods are API monogrammed. Three types of polished rods are available: conventional grade D polished rod, one end upset polished rod and high-strength, long stroke, corrosion resistant polished rod. All the polished rods are made of quality alloy steel and machined by using the advanced machining technology with high strength, smooth surface and long service life. All types of the polished rods are APIcertified. The tensile strength exceeds 1, 000 MPa (145, 000psi). Its surface is hardened with induction heating. The rod surface is coated with nickel-based alloy (Ni35) to make the rod body not to scale off and crack, and obtain high resistance to corrosion and wear.
