Taper ground to AT-3 speces to ensure a precise, rigid fit with the machine tool spindle taper. The clamping nuts for CRM ER Collet Chucks are specially ground to ensure near-perfect roundness. This helps ensure maximum accuracy, minimizes vibration, and provides outstanding holding power. The high accuracy of CRM ER Collet Chucks ensures that cutting tools stay on centerline, distributing the chip-load evenly and significantly extending cutting tool life. All CRM ER Collet Chucks are balanced to G2.5@18,000 rpm for high-speed operation. A serialized balance certificate is included with each tool. A central thru-coolant feature is standard on all CRM ER Collet Chucks.
