A968 catalyst is a kind of TiO2-Al2O3 promoted catalyst of sulphur recovery. Compared with conventional pure Al2O3 catalyst, the main advantages of A968 catalyst are its higher hydrolysis of organic compound such as COS and CS2 as well as higher Claus activity. It can be used to treat any kind of acidic gases containing H2S, with the operating temperature of 200-350°C, space velocity of 600-1200h-1.
