The drainpipe from thesink is of 2'size and is laid till the main drain belowthe hood.14. Taps andThere shall be provision for water, compressed andcontrol valvesvacuum taps. All the three taps should be controlledfrom the outside. The controls should be on the leftof the fume hood. The supply shall include 2 mtr offlexivle pressure tubing of 1/2'dia and 12kg/cm2pressure rating for connecting to laboratory servicelines. One end of the tubing shall be joined to thetap using a cramped 1/2 CBS size nut, (similar topressure hose)and the other end to the header line byanother cramped nut.
