KY-1028 Siliconesurfactantis a low molecular weight nonionic silicone polyether surfactant, developed to improve the wetting, spreading and penetration of agricultural chemicals. It may be used as a formulation ingredient in pesticide products, or as a tank-mix adjuvant for foliar-applied chemicals. Feature: very low surface energy rapid spreading and wetting Properties: Appearance: transparent liquid or light amber liquid Surface tension: (0.1%Wt): 20.5-22.5mN/m Density(25°C):1.010-1.015g/cm3 Viscosity(25°C): 30-50mPa.S Cloud point(0.1%Wt aqueous solution): <35°C Active ingredient: 100% Performance characteristics: Reduces the surface tension of aqueous agricultural mixtures, very rapid wetting and spreading on hard-to-wet surfaces such as waxy leaves, complete coverage can be achieved with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other agricultural chemicals. Greatly increases the uptake of chemicals into plant tissues. Adding KY-1028 Silicone Surfactant to a herbicide tank-mix may significantly enhance its efficacy, particularly in the control of broadleaf weeds with water-soluble herbicides. The rapid uptake produces “rainfastness”, herbicides are not washed off by rainfall because they have penetrated into the plant surface. KY-1028 can be added into production of the pesticide or added into pesticide before spraying. The recommended dosage is between 0.5%-8%. The PH value preferred is between 6-8. The dosage of the product should be adjusted according to different type of pesticide to meet the optimal effects.
