Use of calcium sulfate on food and pharmaceutical application is wide-spread and continues to expand. Calcium sulfate adopt pure natural gypsum as raw material. which is produced by grinding and selecting a select grade of high-purity white gypsum. The finished products are odorless, tasteless, free-flowing white powder. CaSO4·2H2O named Terra Alba, the dihydrate form of calcium sulfate, and contains about 20 percent water of crystallization. CaSO4 the anhydrous form of calcium sulfate is produced by calcining and milling high-purity white gypsum. Commercial Baking Industry--since most grains contain less than 0.05% calcium, the fillers are economical sources of supplemental calcium in enriched flour, cereals, baking powder, yeast, bread conditioners and cake icing, the gypsum products can also be found in canned vegetables and artificially sweetened jellies and preserves.Soybean Products Industry--Calcium sulfate has been used in China for over 2,000 years to coagulate soy milk to make tofu .Calcium sulfate is essential for certain kinds of tofu. Tofu made from calcium sulfate willbe softer and smoother with a mild, bland flavor profile.Pharmaceutical--For pharmacyeutical applications, calcium sulfate is extensively used as a diluent because it good flow ability while also serving as dietary calcium supplement.Cosmetic Industry--With a good whiteness, in fine power, and containing about 20 per cent water of crystallization, the calcium sulfate dihydrate is also used in cosmetic.Items SpecificationAppearance White PowderParticle Size ≥200meshWhiteness ≥95%Solubility 0.22g in 100lm cold water0.26g in 100ml 50°C waterF ≤0.003%As ≤0.0002%Pb ≤0.0002%Se ≤0.003%Assay ≥98%Drying Loss at 250°C 19-23%200 Mesh Sieve Residue ≤0.3%
