It is a kind of bentonite which midified by quaternary ammonium salt. It is specially used as thickness in naphthenic oil, olefin, and syntheic oil grease. It has nice properties in viscosifying action, rust resistance and temperature resistance. HFGEL 310 can be dispersed in base oil to prosuce bentonite grease, or it can be used as thickeners or suspending agent for solid lubricant in oil. It has high montmorillonite content, and least quartz, feldspar and other hard impurities, so it has low abrasion, The grease which was synthesized by HFGEL310 apply to use in the area of high speed, high peak load and precision mechanisms, it could work in 150oC for a long time, its temperature-resistance property is better than lithium saponify, and well-matched with molybdenum disulfide grease. HFGEL310 can also be used to synthesize grease in cable fields. Applications: Bentonite-grease whose base oil could be naphthenic oil and olefin. The dosages of organic bentonite could be 8%-10%, the index of the grease: needle penetration 320-250(1/10nm), dropping point >260oC, steel mesh separate oil test <3%, low carbon steel strip and copper sheet test no corrosion.
