PRODUCT BRIEF The Elink-4EB system provides the industry broadest, most scalable line of license-exempt Spread Spectrum radios for establishing point-to-point, wireless E1 and IP connectivity. Elink-4EB delivers the fastest possible implementation and connectivity of multi-E1 access for line-of-sight distances with 99.999%, or better availability. The Elink-4EB system is used for point-to-point wireless solutions, delivering a proven and cost-effective alternative to wire line and fiber for telco connectivity application with distances exceed 30 miles (50 km). The Elink-4EB system provides 4E1 plus addition Ethernet capacity. The Ethernet bandwidth is fully auto adjusted due to the activation of the E1 ports. When any one of the E1 port is disconnected, the bandwidth will be assigned to the Ethernet port automatically. Compared to fiber or wired alternatives, Elink-4EB delivers faster time-to-market and more cost-effective deployment for service providers, corporations, and government agencies. SYSTEM COMPONENT The IF unit is a rack mountable device, that may be co-located with the desired customer premise equipment (CPE). This unit contains the CEPT-1 interface, power supply, modulator and embedded microprocessor. It has LEDs, an LCD and a keypad as user interface. Point-to-point communication from less than 1 mile/km to greater than 30 miles/50 km. The RF unit is located outdoors near the antenna in a weatherproof enclosure. A Siamese coaxial cable connects the two units and provides power to the RF unit. They may be separated up to 500 feet. A variety of antennas are available to meet your specific requirements.
