ENJO-LAN classroom control system (EL) enables broadcasting of multimedia resources within the network while fulfilling the objective of network monitoring, remote control and other network management purposes. Computer aided instructions will be a breeze with EL. Using EL, the teacher can perform the following functions easily: Functions: > Mass Broadcast or Selective Broadcast > Monitor Students' Screen > Remote Control of Students PC > Audio Broadcast > Dialogue (between two or more parties) > Broadcast VCD/MPEG/MP3/MOV or other video program files > Blank screen > File Transfer > Group Chat > Get information (Remote Information Retriever) > E-Pointer > E-Blackboard and Whiteboard > E-Messaging > Taking Over > Electronic Hand > Lock Down (Lock students' Keyboard and Mouse) > Restart/Shutdown client stations > Interactive Classroom Layout, etc Features: Share Teacher's Screen It allows teacher to broadcast his/her multimedia screen plus voice in real time to one student, a group of students or all students. This enables students to follow the teacher's keyboard inputs and mouse movements on their own screens.Share Student's Screen Teacher can select a student's workstation as master and broadcast the master student's screen to the rest of the students to demonstrate a point. Lock Student Stations/Blank Students' Screen Teacher can lock all student input devices and blank the screen of one or selected group of students with a simple click in order to get students to pay attention to the lesson. Net Voice Voice/audio broadcast can be conducted in the form of audio broadcast from teacher to students, dialogue between two parties or multiple parties. This allows free interaction between teacher and students. Net Movie This feature enables the teacher to broadcast audio/video resources such as VCD, MPEG, MP3, AVI, WAV, MOV and other multimedia video programs to all or selected group of students. View Remote Screen The teacher can use this function to observe one or more student's screen in the class. It can be a simultaneous multi-screens observation or time-phased loop observation. This allows the teacher to discretely monitor the students' computer operation status i.e. to check whether the students are following the lesson or engaging in other mischievous activities without having to repeatedly walk round the class. Remote Control/Tutoring This feature empowers the teacher to remotely control any student's PC. For instance, the teacher may use this feature to take control of the student's mouse to show him/her how to execute certain tasks then release the control to let the student continue with his/her exercise.Electronic Pointer Teacher can use the ePointer to draw, write, highlight or scribble on the E-blackboard or whiteboard. Electronic White/Black Board A versatile feature that can be used to replace the traditional blackboard. Interactive Message This allows teacher and students or student and student to message each other and communicate freely. All text contents will be recorded down as History Records. Get Information from Remote Workstations This feature empowers the teacher to remotely retrieve information such as network, protocol, OS, system requirements, etc from any client workstation to facilitate control. File transfer File transfer feature can be use to transfer one or more files to one or selected group of student PCs. In addition, upon completion of the transfer, teacher can remotely launch the file or run the program on the students' PC. This makes installation of software, distribution of test documents or tutorial via the network possible. Executing instructions for network learning can be a breeze for the teacher. Online Chat Using this function, you can establish an audio and written chat room within the class, this allows unlimited interaction among members of the class. All text contents will be recorded down as History Records. Remote Command This feature provides the teacher with the ability to remotely operate the application command of any preinstalled programs such as Notepad, Word, Excel, etc. on a client PC. Electronic Hand Student can use this Raise Hand function to get teacher's attention or to ask for help. Classroom Interactive Layout The interactive layout is a picture of your actual classroom topology. This area contains icons representing the teacher workstation and student workstations. You may update the layout for each classroom whenever you make changes to the layout e.g. divide students into groups to facilitate teaching, observation, etc. The final layout can then be saved and retrieved for later use. Administration is easy, direct and effective. Simultaneous participation The benefits of this function is that it allows the teacher and students to simultaneously participate in a program i.e. a student can still maintain control of his/her keyboard and mouse while the teacher is controlling them. Reboot or Close down remote workstations This allows the teacher to remotely reboot or close down one or all client workstations. Benefits: 1. An effective computer aided instructional tool for networked learning environment in schools, colleges, universities, computer training institutions and corporate bodies.2. A prominent tool for corporate body to conduct in-house network education and computer training.3. Facilitate System Administrator in network management, security monitoring, etc.4. Aid interaction among Programmers or other project teams;5. Allow technical support personnel to perform remote technical support services. Operating Environment 1.Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000 OS.2.TCP/IP network protocol
