1.Petroleum Resin C5 Properties: Petroleum ResinC5is light yellow and yellow red granular. Density is 1.04-1.09 g/cm3, has good transparency and gloss, excellent solubility and compatibility. Resistant to water, insulation, acid-base chemical stability, soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents, undissolve in water, lower alcohols and ketone. Usage: 1) Petroleum ResinC5has wide range of application, it can produce various colored paint and coatings, I t applied to surface coating of vehicles, ships and bridges, to improve lustre , hardness, water-proof, alkali resistance of paint film, and lower production costs. 2)In production of coatings and adhesive, it can be used as viscosity increaser for SIS, SBS, EVA production to produce pressure-sensitive adhesive, decorative adhesive. 3) Petroleum resin can be used in printing industry, producing all kinds of printing inks, increasing water resistance, solvent consumption and resistance to dry. 4) Petroleum resin is mainly used as viscosity increaser for natural, synthetic rubber, and the main component of putty rubber, the compatibility with rubber is good, because of its low acid value, it does not affect vulcanization. High softening point resin can be used as for synthetic rubber hardening agent, low softening point resin can be used as plasticizers, has no pollution to light color products.
