Product Description Lightning protector of series HYS4-40, HYS4-80 and HYS4-100 is used of the power supply system of AC 50 HZ/60HZ, 380A and that of below, such as TT, IT, TN-S, TN-C-S etc, and used as potential connection at PZOA or at the juncture site of section LPZOB and section LP1 to protect the electricity network during the lightning strike or during the surge through voltage. It’s designed according to IEC-61643-1, GB50057-97. It can release lightning current of 100 KA and usually is mounted at low-voltage principal electric power distribution cabinet on poling incoming line of the buildings. The remote indicating contact can be selected with a normally open contact. If one or several of the modules of surge protective device fails, the contact will close and send out failure signal to realize the remote monitor. Characteristics The lightning impulse current is large up to 120KA (8/20μs). The visual Alarm, the remote indicating contact and the sheathing of audible and visual alarm are mounted on the electric track of 35mm. The response time is fewer than 25 nanoseconds. The sheathing is made of flame retardant material. Mounted Position and Application SPD protection for Grade B lightning protection current is used as potential connection during the lightning strike, etc. It’s mounted at LPZ20A or at the juncture site of section LPZOB and section LPZ1, and usually mounted at low-voltage principal electric power distribution cabinet on poling incoming line.
